Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mooretheatrics@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We ask for production contributions or each production. They help pay for licensing, production shirts (fall and spring productions) and lighting.

Students recommended contributions are below:

  • Workshop : $50
  • Fall Play : $150 (cast/ensemble), $75 (tech)
  • Spring Musical : $150 (cast/ensemble), $75 (tech)

It is important to us that no student is denied the opportunity to be a part of JT Moore Theatre due to financial constraints. Students are still encouraged to sign up and we will work with Moore Theatrics to cover their needs.

Ideally, each student will have the following.

  • Water bottle
  • Black biker shorts
  • White sports tank
  • Black or nude jazz shoes if you have them.
    • We will be conducting inventory of current shoe stock and will try to supply students with shoes, dependent on sizes. If you want to go on and purchase your own pair, you can find some on Amazon here.
  • Toiletries: hair brush, toothbrush, and deodorant (This is primarily a need during tech week and performances)

If you are unable to supply these items, Moore Theatrics will  make sure they have what they need.

This is our first year with our newly formed booster, Moore Theatrics! We will be having a meeting in Sept. to begin planning out the year. We will be establishing committees where you can plug in. Here is our beginning list, however, more may be added as needed. If you haven't already done so, please add your name to the booster list so we can keep you in the loop, membership is free! Due to the nature of our program, it is really important that students are here for their designated rehearsal dates. This includes showing up on time and staying until rehearsal is finished. This insures that we are making the most of our directors' times and the other cast members present.  However, if there is a prior conflict that has been communicated, an illness, or unavoidable appointment, we will accommodate. Communication is key; please notify the director at kylaoneal@icloud.com by 12pm if your student is unable to attend rehearsal. This allows the directors to alter plans if needed.

Please do not send your student on days that are not on their schedule without prior approval from the director(s). This applies to our fall and spring productions. While we love having them around, if they show up unexpectedly on days they have not been called for rehearsal, that places a liability on our directors to have to keep tabs on students who are not rehearsing. We want them to be able to focus on directing. We also want to make sure we can keep everyone safe and value everyone's time and effort.
