Behind every amazing production is a group of dedicated volunteers. This year, in order to get a jump start on planning, we've organized committees to help out with the various needs of Moore Theatrics. Whatever your skill set and time availability, we have a place where you can plug in and be a part.
Are you a small business owner or really great at making connections? We need you! We are looking for a great team of people to help reach out to local businesses to sponsor our program. We have advertising packages available for the businesses ready to go, and need go-getters that want to help us make those connections throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
Do you like organizing meals or party planning? We need a team that can work on organizing meals for the fall and spring productions during tech week and performance nights. These rolls include helping call restaurants for any school discounts or free food and helping pickup, deliver, and setup food.
Are you great at coming up with funding ideas? Come help brainstorm fundraising opportunities for Moore Theatrics. Responsibilities for this committee will include working with the board to assess fundraising goals, establishing fundraising plans, and helping implement fundraisers for the 2024-2025 school year.
Do you like to sew or create? We will have various costume project needs throughout the fall and spring productions. We love to have individuals available that can take on a few projects to spread out the load.
Do you have a flair for make-up application? Come join our make-up committee for our fall and/or spring production.
Do you love styling hair? Come join our hair committee for our fall and/or spring production. Additionally, perhaps you have a connection to local cosmetology schools and want to help arrange volunteers to earn their hours. If so, this is also a place for you.
Are you handy? Do you like to use power tools or paint? From time to time, we may need help building, moving, or painting set pieces and love to have some individuals that are on call to come help when available.
Are you good at counting money and handling change? Can you also handle multiple people waiting in line? We need a great concessions committee to help on show dates with setting up/tearing down concessions and merch and selling before, during, and after the shows.
Are you good with data and speaking with people? As we approach our show dates for the fall and spring productions, we will need our ticketing committee to help with our ticket sales and allocation.
Do you have energy and muscle? We need able bodies to help with setup and tear down during show dates for the fall and spring productions. This committee will help wherever needed during show dates before and after productions.
Do you love talking about and supporting our Moore Theatrics program? We need some amazing volunteers to help spread the word to our feeder schools, local organizations, and libraries about our Moore Theatrics happenings. Consider this our Moore Theatrics "Street Team". Responsbilities will include distributing posters, making phone calls, sending emails, and verbally spreading the word.
